"Winter Apricots: Prilep International Film Festival" is a newborn, emerging and independent festival born by the meeting of a Macedonian architect and an Italian Filmmaker wishing to bring in Prilep, a small town in Macedonia, a quality cultural event. Internationality will be, as a consequence, one of the characterizing aspects of this two days long festival, meaning international movie selection and jury.

Aimed to be a gathering for all the film lovers and professionals in the area the Festival has the goal to become a cultural point of reference associating workshops, concerts,extra-screenings, and exhibitions to the main event.

The challenge is big but at the same time extremely worth. The city has not such an event right now while the need, the curiosity and the motivation for cultural happenings are strong.
